Why does our treasurer and board member have numerous lawsuits and judgements filed against him for not paying his bills, including not paying his assessments to Wurzbach Tower, all public record in the Court Records of Bexar County. ??? Of particular note is his delinquent Condo assessments and lien in the amount of $1838.79, the sum of which seems to indicate a serious delinquency for quite a few months of failing to pay his assessments.

For the record, we sent Dean E. Dobson a Certified Mail letter, Restricted Delivery, Return Receipt Requested #7022-2410-0000 4623 8328 on April 2 2024 seeking his explanation of these suits, judgements and liens. Dean E. Dobson did not respond to our inquiry. Our inquiry letter was also delivered in a sealed envelope to the front desk, and a copy of the letter was sent via regular mail.

Here is our concern: In our opinion, it is clear that Wurzbach Tower is in a financial crisis...the worst crisis in it's 40+year existence. It is about to hit the proverbial fan...

But,

Is it prudent, do you think it is reasonable to allow a person that has such a checkered financial history to be the Treasurer and preparer of financial Reports for our condo building? To us the answer is a resounding no. When we look at our astounding bad financial condition and contemplate how to fund extraordinary major expenses in the next few months with little cash on hand and no significant reserves, it is easy to see how people like Dobson have played a role in our dire situation. We have heard Dobson tell the rest of board we should merely increase assessments and pay as we go, with no regard to the ever increasing costs of doing business, not to mention you can not raise assessment revenue fast enough to attack the unfunded liabilities of the association.
